Second-level Non ProfitOrganisation Diktio Perrevia (en. Perrevia Network) is a contemporary Federation of 70 Associations (NGOs) in the Municipality of Elassona. It works as a second-level non-governmental organization, based in the town of Elassona, located at the foot of the mythical Olympus, the worldwide know mountain, in the Prefecture of Larissa, Region of Thessaly (Greece).The main pillars of its activities are Culture, Environment, Youth, Social Solidarity, Arts and Literature, Sustainable Development, Protection of Human Rights, Fight against Poverty, Inter-cultural Cooperation and International Partnership. It is recognized as an innovative pioneer network in the field of NGOs and it is often invited to support others in networking and cooperation between non-governmental actors. Civil society “Perrevia Network” is the creation of certain organizations of civil society, in order to foster cooperation and networking, not only within the Greek context, but also at European level, seeking for partnership, mutual respect and solidarity among peoples, for a Europe of justice, equality, cohesion and growth. The Network “PERREVIA” features 150 scientists of all disciplines, in order to be able to cover all scientific needs, in all the pillars of action. Has set up scientific project groups, coordinators of which are eminent scientists. Perrevia has management adequacy implementation of national and European Programs.

Experts – Volunteers – Working Groups – Partners Perrevia Network is a «laboratory» of knowledge, study, scientific approach and fruitful reflection, a place where people exchange views, share visions, organise actions and take initiatives in all related topics. In this context Perrevia Network works with Experts in several projects – Volunteers of youth organizations – Working groups of specialists in all related areas – External partners, in order to implement certain actions, present proposals and participate in national and European projects.
The Network “PERREVIA” in recent years has developed actions relating to rural development, the primary sector and entrepreneurship in rural areas, especially for young people. For this reason we cooperate with the EUROPE DIRECT ,the Regional Development Fund, the Region of Thessaly, with Universities and large NGOs, in order to inform the rural population, to train and to create entrepreneurship in rural areas and to remain at places of origin. Even organizes conferences , calling prestigious academics, technocrats,representatives of the state and NGO’s, for the creation of new rural development policies. Organizing special conferences on alternative types of tourism, theme tourism and rural tourism, certification of destinations, the creation of branding place and works for this with all operators of Thessaly. Informs in special training seminars young farmers, young scientists,but also the inhabitants of rural areas, the development potential of alternative forms of tourism, in particular ruraltourism. Promotes the development of Social Solidarity Economy in Greece,belongs to Panhellenic Association of Bodies for the social economy and has organized together with other members on 10-12/6/2016 the 1st PanHellenic Conference of Social Economy. Has networking throughout the Thessaly,but also the whole of Greece and great access to local societies. Has considerable experience in the organization of round tables, conferences,workshops and seminars, assigned from Greek and foreign universities.
Perrevia network for Rural Tourism, has been working on the following topics:
1. Recording the status quo in Thessalia 2. Existing Problems – pathogenies of the system 3. Update -awareness of young entrepreneurs or old, new, unemployed, unemployed scientists of high and higher education 4. Training young entrepreneurs in rural tourism (seminars, visits to pilot rural units in or outside Greece) Description of PILOT RURAL TOURISM UNIT 5. Support legal, accounting, advisory, assistance for applying in development programs (Leader, CSA , European etc) 6.Create BRANDING site in relation to the rural tourism 7. Networking between rural tourism units of Thessaly, but also with the rural units throughout Greece, but also in partnercountries (Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Greece) 8. Networking with rural touristic units of the partner countries 9. Create a Portal (in all the languages of the partners) for their support and the promotion of the rural tourism units of Thessaly 10. Create Standards in rural tourism 11. Create rural tourism offers at the level of Thessalia -vacation packageson the basis of the Rural tourism 12. Promotion of marketing within the rural tourism 13. Create video and advertising spot for Thessaly, in thematic expos of external or internal 14. Create an Album with the rural tourist units of Thessaly 15. Create new tourist identity in Thessalia 16.Quality mark of rural tourism. Classification of a tourist enterprise in rural companies require the acquisition of a special quality mark. 17. Creation of an electronic information office for the Rural Tourism, where everyone can submit any query and receive information and advises from specialists in the area. 18. Create a folder with the proposals,which will result from the implementation of the program and the transfer of good practice from other partners, which will be forwarded to the Region of Thessaly and the Ministry of Rural Development and any other involved,in order to shape the appropriate legislative tools for the development of rural tourism in Greece .

Has been trained for years in the field of macroeconomic, Informatics , Marketing and Business Administration. An adviser on issues of development and entrepreneurship. Has participated in dozens of conferences, seminars, workshops within and outside Greece, as rapporteur. It was and is rapporteur in conferences, workshops and seminars on the Environment, culture, social solidarity, the Social Economy, the development and the voluntary sector is the instigator ,champion and President, since its inception until today, the awarded Network “PERREVIA”,which comprises 70 Member Associations from all over the world,a great and modern Network Associations is well known throughout Greece and the world for its initiatives, good practices and the huge offer on the site. Unanimously elected as president of the network from all Members. He has set up and other large networks of NGOs in Greece,who are working effectively. The NGO networks have members of rural areas in Thessaly and therefore access to local societies is easy. Organizes many activities relating to the environment,culture, social solidarity, the social economy, sustainable development.
